The Spa at The Inn at Bay Harbor Earns Recognition as a Top Resort Spa

July 27, 2011 - The Inn at Bay Harbor - A Renaissance Golf Resort has been honored with yet another award as readers of Condé Nast Traveler have named the resort's spa among the Top 100 Resort Spas - U.S. Mainland. The results of the twenty-first annual readers' spa poll were published in the magazine's June issue and based on three criteria - spa facilities, staff and treatments. The Spa provides a breathtaking location for relaxation along the shores of Little Traverse Bay. The facility offers seven treatment rooms including a massage suite for couples, a cozy lounge, locker facilities, and manicure and pedicure room with lakeside patio. A full array of services including body, skin care, nails, hair and make-up are available, as is a specialty spa boutique for shopping and take home items. Guests visiting The Spa during the summer months can also enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, lounge chairs, poolside Cabana Bar and beach area.

The Inn at Bay Harbor opened in 1998 and furnishes guests with one, two, and three-bedroom suites and a variety of spacious floor plans, some with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. In addition to spa facilities, the resort offers the 27-hole Arthur Hills designed Bay Harbor Golf Club featuring the country's most diverse collection of golf holes, as well as exceptional dining and meeting venues, boutique shopping and activities such as biking and boating.

This past spring, The Inn at Bay Harbor was also named one of the world's Top 125 Golf Resorts by Condé Nast Traveler readers. In 2010, the resort earned the coveted Gold Medal from GOLF Magazine becoming the only Michigan property to ever achieve Gold level status.
