Bobby Jones Links to Manage The Silos at Granada Farms

By Brian Weis

Bobby Jones Links (BJL), the golf industry's leading client-centric, boutique management company, proudly announces that it is now managing Granite Falls, N.C.'s The Silos at Granada Farms. The 1976 Tom Jackson-designed layout that sits on rolling countryside in the Foothills of North Carolina presents risk and reward shot making opportunities for golfers of all skill levels.

"Bobby Jones Links embraces a direct, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to managing golf properties that is helping us scale more effectively as we improve the guest experience at this property," said Silos Owner Brandon Lee, who also owns the nearby BJL-managed Player's Ridge Golf Course. "Having two courses in close proximity means we are able to make a noticeable difference in the day-to-day experience for our members and guests as we optimally utilize our equipment, staff, and resources. BJL brings a depth of knowledge that helps us put goals and ideas into action plans. When it comes to breathing new life and a stronger, more vibrant culture to a property, BJL's seasoned perspective is very valuable."

Course renovations on The Silos have already begun, according to Lee, who adds: "Our immediate focus is improving the overall golf product, making the tees and greens better and offering a full range of the items golfers want to see in the pro shop. The playability and enjoyability that our customers expect and deserve are a huge focus early in this process of reimagining the property. Our patrons are going to see conditions improve across the board. Some of our holes, like No. 15 and 16 have our attention as we make improvements, and we think these holes can turn into showstoppers for the course. The Silos has the best views of any golf course in the area. It's close to the mountains and the views are stunning."

The spacious barn venue on the property is currently being used as a party and event venue. Lee says he and his team are developing plans to add a permanent restaurant and bar in that space, and then lease out the restaurant.

"We enjoy projects like the Silos at Granada Farms because we're hands-on in the process of bringing Brandon Lee's vision for what this place can be to life," said Bobby Jones Links' Chief Development Officer Doug Hellman. "It's opportunities like this that allow us to draw on our deep expertise in all facets of course development and operations to achieve our client's goals and ROI while elevating the golfing experience at this property. Over time, the improvements will be dramatic."

About: Brian Weis

Brian Weis While Brian Weis has made a name for himself in the golf world, he also appreciates the finer things in life—like a world-class spa treatment after a grueling 18 holes (or even after a casual round where the only thing working hard was his golf cart). A self-proclaimed "golfer who enjoys relaxation more than practice," Brian has developed a deep appreciation for massages that unknot his questionable swing mechanics, saunas that sweat out a few too many post-round drinks, and infinity pools with views as stunning as a well-manicured par 3.

Brian’s spa journey began as a reluctant tag-along to couples' massages and resort spa packages but quickly evolved into a full-fledged appreciation for hot stone therapy, deep-tissue recovery, and the occasional seaweed wrap (don’t knock it till you try it). Now, he seeks out the best spa retreats, thermal baths, and relaxation havens wherever his travels take him—whether it's a luxury golf resort with a five-star spa or a hidden wellness gem perfect for unwinding in style.

On SpaTrips.com, Brian shares his experiences, reviews, and insider tips on the best places to soothe sore muscles, indulge in rejuvenating treatments, and find true relaxation—whether you're a hardcore golfer in need of recovery or just someone looking for the ultimate escape. After all, what’s the point of a bucket list golf trip if you can’t top it off with an expert massage, a hot soak, and maybe even a ridiculously plush robe"
