Can you provide our readers with a brief overview of the spa?
Tucked away in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a refreshing and tranquil oasis at Island Resort & Casino's Drift Spa. As soon as each guest steps off the elevator into a newly found sense of calm and tranquility, Drift Spa begins fulfilling the promise of an undisturbed and revitalizing spa experience. Our nature-based treatments and skilled therapists will help you relax, refresh and restore mind- body-synergy.

Drift Spa proudly utilizes and offers natural, "clean-beauty", and local products. Our therapists will walk you through compatible take-home products to continue to nourish and beautify hair, skin, nails and body at home.

If you were planning a half and/or a full day visit to your spa what would be the perfect itinerary to get the most out of your amenities?
The Drift Spa offers single treatments as well as full and partial day packages. I like to suggest the Day Packages because they truly offer the total spa experience and also save you money by bundling services. Spend a day with us and truly relax, it's like no other spa experience in our area.

Mind - Body - Spirit Package
Restore balance and reduce tension with a 75 minute Hot Stone Massage, 15 minute Scalp Massage and Signature Sweetgrass Facial. You will leave feeling renewed and re-energized.

Just For Girls Package
Relax and unwind while tension is released from your back, neck and shoulders with an Express Target Massage followed by a Signature Sweetgrass Facial and Finishing with an Express Pedicure.

How do you differ from the other spas in the area?
We like to stick to our roots and honor and embrace the healing traditions of the Native Americans. The Drift Spa is dedicated to mind, body and spirit renewal. When you get off the elevator onto our floor, you really feel like you are transported to a different place, a sanctuary. I believe we are the only place that does this. You aren't just taken into a room, you experience the feel of a luxury spa from start to finish.

The Drift Away Massage

Our new signature massage will put you at ease with relaxation and peace to the mind, body and spirit. Incorporated with Swedish Massage techniques and aromatic scents to naturally relax the muscles.

Our Signature Services consist of the Sweetgrass scent offered as a Sweetgrass Facial 25min/$65 50min/$95 and Sweetgrass Body Treatment 90min/$135.

Drift Spa Hours: Please keep in mind part our spa/casino/hotel resides on the border of the Eastern/Central time zones. All times and reservations are reserved in Eastern Time.

Sunday - Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday - Saturday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

We suggest guests  arrive 15 minutes  before their scheduled appointment. This allows plenty of time to change and arrive early for their treatment.
