Whether you have been to the spa a dozen times or researching it for a first visit, insights from an insider can enhance your spa experience. Below is an interview with Jennifer Fry, who shares valuable tidbits about the spa, their treatments and the perfect itinerary.

Can you provide our readers with a brief over of the spa?
Pure Spa is made up of a total of 5 treatment rooms, including a couple's suite with a walk-in shower. The women & men's wet areas are separate consisting of a dry sauna, a steam room, showers with triple wall mount dispensers, & lockers. Each side has it's own transitional waiting area with stocked fridges & snacks. We have a total of 4 female therapists, 2 males therapists, and 1 Esthetician. One of the female therapists is also a licensed Esthetician and has a room set up to provide massage and/or facial's. The Pure spa theme coincides with The "non-smoking" Palace Casino Resort, where we use & carry a pure vegan product known as 100% PURE. We also use pure organic/vegan produce from the local health food store to create facial masks for our seasonal specials. We also specialize in skin resurfacing (chemical peels & microdermabrasion) & carry a wide variety of ant-aging medical strength products that do not contain Parabens or added preservatives known to cause health related issues. Pure Spa is open 5 days a week Thursday-Monday. We open our doors at 8:30 am, take our first appointment at 9:00am, and our last appointment at 6:00 pm.

Please describe your Signature and/or most commonly requested service?
We have two 80 min. Signature Body Treatments & Massages that were created right here in the Spa. The Pure Fusion Signature Body Treatment & Massage includes an all over sugar scrub/body polish, a shower, & a full body massage. The massage includes a 100% Pure Body Butter for skin hydration. During this signature treatment, a pure virgin coconut oil is massaged into the scalp and hair for treating & pure relaxation. The 80 min. Pure Elements Detoxifying Mud Wrap was designed to remove toxins & impurities from the body while providing nutrients to the skin. An herbal Sedona clay mud is applied to the body with the use of warm stones. The guest is then wrapped in a cocoon to begin the detoxifying process. While the guest is wrapped, a pure virgin coconut oil is massaged into the scalp & hair, followed by a shiatsu trigger point facial massage. The guest is then unwrapped & sent to shower off the mud while clean linen is placed on the treatment bed. The last half of this signature Body treatment includes an all over body butter hydration to soothe the skin & body. We also offer an 80 min. 100% Pure Signature Facial that would pair up perfect with either one of these Signature Body Treatments/Massages. Pure Spa is the only Spa on the Coast that uses this unique organic product and offers pure creations made right here in the Spa.

Do you have any current specials or packages?
Our Fall Special consisted of a Vanilla Bean full body massage & a pumpkin Spice sugar whip foot exfoliation, A Pumpkin Pie facial made from real pumpkin, & a pumpkin Spice sugar whip hand treatment. For the month of December we have created a special package using the 100% Pure Honey Almond in with the Massage & a Gingerbread Sugar whip foot exfoliation, & A freshly made Ginger & Honey Facial, including the Gingerbread Sugar Whip hand treatment. We will ring in the New Year with a Super Fruits & Champaign Facial while highlighting the Super Fruit Mangosteen in the Massage. Each of our seasonal/holiday specials include a 50 min. specialty massage, a 50 min. specialty facial, & a complimentary gift. The specialty packages are 2 hours of pure spa pampering and cost $200.
