By Brian Weis
Officials of the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday announced today the return of the FORE! Miler presented by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The Ohio State Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (The James), a 4-mile road race that will kick off the 2025 playing of the prestigious PGA TOUR event hosted annually by golf legend Jack Nicklaus at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The race serves as a fundraiser that highlights and benefits the alliance between Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Stephen and Ayesha Curry's Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation.
The FORE! Miler will begin at 7 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 22. The race will follow a route that starts and ends at Muirfield Village Golf Club and includes Memorial Drive, Avery Road, Brand Road, Muirfield Drive and Kinross Court. After the race, runners and walkers will enjoy a free Post-Race Party at Muirfield Village Golf Club. The FORE! Miler is limited to the first 3,000 runners and walkers.

Race fees from March 19 through April 22 are $50 per person; and $55 per person starting April 23 until sold out. Race participants receive an Official FORE! Miler-themed shirt, an Official FORE! Miler-themed Finisher's Medal, one complimentary Good Any One Day Practice Round ticket ($20 value) to the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (good for any one day, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, with Wednesday's ticket including access to the Official Pro-Am and Memorial Honoree Ceremony) and a complimentary adult beverage at the Post-Race Party.
"We are proud that the FORE! Miler has become a popular stop on the spring running calendar and continues to be a must attend event in Dublin," said Memorial Tournament Executive Director Dan Sullivan. "This community-focused race owes much of its success to its sponsors, including new presenting sponsor The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The James, and longtime partners City of Dublin, Nationwide, Miller Lite, Coca-Cola, Giant Eagle and WBNS. Their support makes it possible for the FORE! Miler to raise important funds for Nationwide Children's Hospital and Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, while also highlighting the alliance with the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation."
The Memorial Tournament, scheduled for May 26-June 1, will once again collaborate with M3S Sports to operate the FORE! Miler. The Memorial and M3S will continue to work closely with City of Dublin officials to create a first-class race experience for participants and Dublin residents alike.
"Dublin is a proud designated Runner Friendly Community, and it is a joy to see our community's continued enthusiastic participation in the FORE! Miler," said Dublin City Manager Megan O'Callaghan. "This event not only promotes health and wellness but also serves as a vibrant kickoff to the Memorial Tournament, which fosters the spirit of excellence that defines our city."
"We are thrilled to support this year's FORE! Miler," said Dan Like, MHA, Chief Administrative Officer of Ambulatory Services at the Wexner Medical Center. "It is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Memorial Tournament and the City of Dublin on our shared vision of enhancing the health of the communities where we live and work. By sponsoring the FORE! Miler race, we're fostering a culture of active living, preventative care and well-being, while reinforcing our commitment to the City of Dublin. We are honored to be part of this meaningful cause."

About: Brian Weis
While Brian Weis has made a name for himself in the golf world, he also appreciates the finer things in life—like a world-class spa treatment after a grueling 18 holes (or even after a casual round where the only thing working hard was his golf cart). A self-proclaimed "golfer who enjoys relaxation more than practice," Brian has developed a deep appreciation for massages that unknot his questionable swing mechanics, saunas that sweat out a few too many post-round drinks, and infinity pools with views as stunning as a well-manicured par 3.
Brian’s spa journey began as a reluctant tag-along to couples' massages and resort spa packages but quickly evolved into a full-fledged appreciation for hot stone therapy, deep-tissue recovery, and the occasional seaweed wrap (don’t knock it till you try it). Now, he seeks out the best spa retreats, thermal baths, and relaxation havens wherever his travels take him—whether it's a luxury golf resort with a five-star spa or a hidden wellness gem perfect for unwinding in style.
On SpaTrips.com, Brian shares his experiences, reviews, and insider tips on the best places to soothe sore muscles, indulge in rejuvenating treatments, and find true relaxation—whether you're a hardcore golfer in need of recovery or just someone looking for the ultimate escape. After all, what’s the point of a bucket list golf trip if you can’t top it off with an expert massage, a hot soak, and maybe even a ridiculously plush robe"
